Home Run Derby Rules and Registration

3 Age Divisions:
8-11 @ Brewers Field
12-14 @ Cardinals Field
15+ @ Pirates Park

Registration fee: $10

25 available spots for each division, see below on how to pre-register.

Round 1

• Each player gets 10 outs to hit as many home runs as possible.
• The top 8 players with the most home runs advance to round 2.
• Home run totals from round 1 carry over to round 2.

Round 2

• Each player gets 10 outs to hit as many home runs as possible.
• The two players with the most home runs advance to the finals.

Finals

• Home runs from rounds 1 & 2 do not carry over.
• Each player gets 10 outs to hit as many home runs as possible.
• The player who hits the most home runs is declared the Home Run Derby champion.

Rules

• An out is registered when a player swings at a pitch and does not hit a home run.
• A ball hit over the fence must be fair to count as a home run.
• You may use wood or metal bats.
• You will need to supply your own pitcher.

Prizes

Prizes will be given for top three in each division.

*Due to the nature of the event we cannot guarantee quantities of food available, first come first serve.
**No carry in food or beverages allowed. Concessions will be open to purchase snacks and beverages. Please no talking during the movie and silence your cellphones. Lawn chairs and blankets may be brought in.
